Caravan valeting in West Yorkshire

Caravan valeting in West Yorkshire

The Great British winter does not deter many modern day caravanners. However, at this time of year, a never ending supply of road dirt and grime can easily spoil the look of your home on wheels. Today’s job sees me caravan valeting in West Yorkshire, giving this Swift a thorough clean.

The “Challenger” is in the process of being buffed with a compound and a gentle action buffing machine. This “compound” restores a factory fresh shine

This Swift caravan was given a thorough wash and then rinsed. Once dry, the tourer is treated to a buffing as shown above, then treated with a finishing compund which removes small scratches and swirl marks. A hand polish using Carnauba wax ensures a long lasting shine.  The exterior windows are gently buffed to remove scratches, followed by a wash and clean with soft cloths and non abrasive products. Exterior plastics are washed and brought back to an “as new” appearance. Finally, wheels and tyres are cleaned, giving the caravan a finished look.

Internally, the caravan windows are cleaned, the entire habitation area, (including a clean of upholstery if required) is cleaned and “wet vacuumed”. Noteworthy of a mention, this does not leave your fabrics wet, but slightly damp which will dry over a short period, in a ventilated caravan.
